The Christmas Coca-Cola truck will once again come from the far North Pole to our town. And its first stop will be here at PVA EXPO PRAGUE. You can look forward to two days of packed programme. The whole event will start on Friday 6/12 and on Saturday 7/12 the truck will continue its journey.
The traditional decorated truck bringing Santa Claus will arrive at 16:30 on both days.
This year there will also be a Polar Experience Truck that will take you beyond the Arctic Circle to Santa's Village. You'll see the Northern Lights, walk in Santa's footsteps and experience what a truly frosty landscape looks like. And you might even meet a reindeer or an elf.
Great food is also part of the experience. In cooperation with the famous chef Roman Staša, Coca Cola has prepared great refreshments for you to taste, as well as a special Christmas edition of Coca Cola bottles on the label of which you can write your name.
Christmas songs and moderated entertainment will add to the overall atmosphere. Whether you purchase gifts or refreshments, all proceeds are donated to charity.
"By buying refreshments, people will support those who really need it. This year Coca Cola has decided to team up with the Czech and Slovak Red Cross and donate all proceeds from the sale of food, Christmas items and special Christmas personalised bottles to the needy," adds Veronika Němcová, Coca Cola's Director of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In total, Coca Cola in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, together with the participants of the event, will donate at least CZK 1,000,000 to the Red Cross.
"We very much appreciate the cooperation with Coca Cola, which we have been implementing for several years now. This year, the amount of money raised will be donated to support the Alice Home Nursing Care Agency, to support shelters and gerontocentres, where we will be able to cheer up clients with a pre-Christmas meeting so that they do not feel lonely at Christmas time," explains Miroslava Jirůtková, Head of the Czech Red Cross Programme Department.
